Our Search Ends for Red Spring on the Vedder River | EP21
In this episode, we head back out to Chilliwack to continue our search for Red Chinooks on the Vedder River!
The water at Vedder this time around was much better than the first and there was ample action all morning. We all had multiple opportunities to each land a fish but we fumbled π Steven almost landed his first ever Red Spring, but his line snapped π Our guest landed our only fish of the day, as our rods continue to be camera shy in Chilliwack… Better luck next time!
Our fingers are crossed, hoping that Sockeye Salmon will open on the Fraser River. We had lots planned around it for you guys π€

Rednecks speeding on a jet boat on the Vedder River come to shore and assault a Black angler; Sunday July 24 2022. Witnesses stated the fisherman was just asking the jetboaters to slowdown and took offense. You can google Chilliwack Jeboat Assault and find the new story. Police are investigating. RCMP.
Vedder River Rainbow TROUT Fishing!
Its offcially Red spring season BUT I decided to get out for some rainbow trout fishing. It surely didn’t disappoint. Look for slow moving water or pocket. Simple setup, 8g float, weight, size 4 barbless hook with worm will get you these beauty fish! Make sure to check regulations before you go out. Vedder river/Chilliwack river.

Vedder River Pink Salmon Catch and Cook | Fishing with Rod
Pink salmon return to the Vedder River in Chilliwack BC Canada in September every odd year. This is a great fishery for all ages as they are often abundant and easy to entice. In this episode, we float fish for pink salmon with jigs and little spoons for pink salmon at the beginning of the opening in 2021!
