Hello all, I finally decide to put up a video for chinook salmon. After putting in a lot of hours, I got the hang of it and fished it out! This is not a secret spot but is a hot spot. As long as you respect each other, it isnt as bad as you think. One the most crowded spot on the Vedder river. I wouldn’t recommend this run to beginners or someone new because of the crowd, it would be too tough. I recommend walking up further or exploring, there are fish all over the river. Tight lines and good luck!

3 besties take a beautiful white water rafting trip down the Vedder/Chilliwack Rivers in British Columbia. Class 4 & 5 rapids make for an exciting river ride and an epic day of outdoor adventure. The dramatic trip down the river rapids winds down later on a sandy beach beside the river, soaking up the sun and cooling off in the water.

Flow Rate at Vedder Bridge: 120 m3/s
Launch: Just upriver of the Chilliwack River Provincial Park
Exit: Keith Wilson Bridge (note, last section past the train bridge was too slow, next time we’ll exit at Lickman Rd.)
Moving time: about 3 hrs
In this episode, we head back out to Chilliwack to continue our search for Red Chinooks on the Vedder River!
The water at Vedder this time around was much better than the first and there was ample action all morning. We all had multiple opportunities to each land a fish but we fumbled 😅Steven almost landed his first ever Red Spring, but his line snapped 😂 Our guest landed our only fish of the day, as our rods continue to be camera shy in Chilliwack… Better luck next time!
Our fingers are crossed, hoping that Sockeye Salmon will open on the Fraser River. We had lots planned around it for you guys 🤞
