Today we headed out in search of winter steelhead.
The river has changed a lot since the floods in November, we spent a lot of time exploring around the “new” river.
It was our first time out this year and we started the day pretty late (9am) so we spent some time hiking around, we found a few nice runs with not much luck, we moved around a bunch until we came across a very “fishy” run, where Braiden pulled out a beautiful hatchery rainbow.
Unfortunately we didn’t find any winter run steelhead, next time hopefully!

Vedder River Underwater: Lickman Rd 2021
Just a quick underwater exploration at Lickman Rd. This spot has changed a great deal in the last year, and continues to change. Not too much fishing gear to be found there this time, but that’s probably because I already cleaned it up a couple of times this season. So if you want to see your fave fishing spot underwater, sit back and enjoy.

Rafting 70+ rapids over 80 miles on the Salmon River in Idaho. Kate, Max, and I raft the highly sought after Salmon River for 6 days in this adventure. One of my favorite trips so far.

Our raft is a RMR Phat Cat. With massive tubes, 30+ D rings, this thing is a shredder gear boat perfect for R2 or a small oar rig. Its at home in class V creeks and plowing through big wave trains on higher volume rivers. We highly recommend this raft.

WILD Caught ALASKAN SALMON! Catch, Clean & Cook! Seward, Alaska Fishing
Day 2 of fishing out of Seward, Alaska and we catch Silver Salmon (Coho) as well as pacific cod! We also get really close to Aialik Glacier, get some epic drone footage, and eat some of the glacier ice! Captain Garrett shows you how to fillet a salmon, then we bring all our fish back home! I make homemade teriyaki sauce and put it over pan seared salmon! It was delicious!
