I went creek fishing for BIG TROUT with my buddy Colin at Yellow Creek Trout Club. It was a beautiful fall day with temps around 65 degrees. It was sunny with very little wind. The creek was low, clear and very cold. The big trout were super aggressive! I started out with a float rig but soon switched to a jerkbait which put some epic trout in our nets. I caught my first ever TIGER TROUT! It was an absolute beast! I also caught a bunch of very nice rainbow trout. Colin caught some monster rainbow trout as well. The conditions weren’t the best, but we fished hard and made it happen. We had a great day of trout fishing at the creek. Can’t wait to do it again soon!
